Who/what inspired you to teach yoga?
I was drawn to the practice of yoga as an athlete… intrigued by the process of moving awareness inward and Self discovery.
What are your goals as a teacher?
My goal as a yoga teacher is to invite the practitioner to explore their body, breath and mind with a sense of wonderment and appreciation. To traverse the subtle body of consciousness with increasing ease and sentience.
What keeps you practicing?
There is a magnificent movement within this living universe… seeking and maintaining balance through a beautiful dance of opposites. Yoga allows me to enter this space.
What does organic mean to you?
Organic is a choice. To align with the laws of nature. It is the right choice for the consumer, the industry workers along the life chain of each garment, and the planet.
Besides yoga, what do you do to keep a healthy lifestyle?
I eat a healthy, organic, mostly local diet. I meditate, walk barefoot in the woods, hike the snowy mountains in the winter, and swim the rivers and lakes in the summer. My breath is a huge part of my practice and with me all the time.
What's your favorite Hyde outfit?
The Brooklyn Halter top and Chrystie Drawstring bottoms.
What makes you want to represent Hyde?
I believe organic is a choice. To align with the laws of nature. It is the right choice for the consumer, the industry workers along the life chain of each garment, and the planet.
