who started this party?

back in 2005, when yoga was on the rise but before “athleisure” was a thing, finding a good pair of yoga pants was a challenge. finding them again was unlikely. and finding them with sustainable fabrics or ethically made, next to impossible.

enter a.k. l’heureux (left), a runner turned yogi with a love for beautiful, functional clothes and a commitment to sustainable living. she harnessed her minimalist aesthetic and small business sensibility to launch the hyde collection.

when she partnered with brook cosby (right), a yoga teacher turned entrepreneur with a passion for environmentalism, they broadened the practice-focused collection to include lifestyle pieces like lightweight tees and cozy hoodies.

then and now, a.k. and brook believe that clothes should feel good on the body, bring peace to the mind and give back to the earth.

a.k.’s favorite outfit: venice tank & paradise tight

a.k. loves the relaxed, modern fit of the venice tank. and how the gold stitch detail on the back seam turns a staple piece into a chic statement. the versatile nature of this tank makes it a must-have for her working, parenting and all-around-active lifestyle.

the paradise tight is her go-to for yoga and beyond. like all our leggings, the paradise is soft, breathable and comfortable to wear, but the pin tuck details and unique 7/8 length with an angle cut hem elevate this style well beyond basic.

brook’s favorite outfit: taylor tank & laurel legging

the taylor tank is our best selling practice tank, and brook certainly understands why. the comfortable fit and flattering scoop neck make it easy to wear; the double criss cross straps give it an element of sporty chic that inspires and empowers her.

brook loves the long length of the laurel legging. she is frequently on the go from yoga class to our office and out again for off site meetings, and the laurel transitions elegantly between all these various settings. plus the high waist makes it extra comfortable.

what’s your favorite organic outfit? we’d love to know.
